That’s right- the fourth reindeer is Vixen!
I’ll tell you all about how this website came to be known as The Fourth Reindeer on the About page. Eventually.
For almost two years I’ve daydreamed about turning this domain into the best Christmas site ever. I got as far as writing out a humorous “pitch page” for buying a Hippopotamus for Christmas, based on the song which was my favorite Christmas song in 2007 (this year it’s Marshmallow World). But I just never got around to developing it!
First, I couldn’t make up my mind how to organize it. I knew that I loved this theme (it’s so festive, don’t you think?), but how to rank and arrange things? I had a series of recipes that I wanted to post, but in what order?
Then I was distracted by several other website projects, and only recently came back around to this Christmas site. I’ve got a few ideas, and even though I know it’s too late for any of you to find me for Christmas 2009, I hope that by Christmas 2010 there will be tons of fun posts, recipes, and ideas for you all to enjoy!
